Group settings provide invaluable learning opportunities through the combination of lessons for individuals with observation and discussion for everyone. Learning takes place through questions, discussions and observation of others learning the same subtle skills.
An important tool in teaching is the use of the teacher’s hands. Alexander teachers are trained to use their hands in a highly specialised manner, which when combined with Alexander’s concepts and ideas, are designed to help the student find new movement choices.
